Located in the heart of Plymouth, Lanterns is one of the city’s longest-established restaurants — proudly family-run since 1977. Founded on our Cypriot heritage and a passion for great food, we’ve grown into a third-generation family business that remains as passionate today as the day we opened.

The Experience
At Lanterns, dining is about more than food — it’s about bringing people together. Having grown up in the restaurant, owner and chef Dimitri now leads the kitchen alongside head chef Benny, whose 20 years of experience and expertise on the grill are at the very heart of what we do. Together, they continue the family’s legacy — serving food that warms the soul and keeps guests coming back.
